We spent Memorial Day weeekend with S.O.'s family in Sacramento. JR, John's first and only nephew, was playing at the backyard that afternoon. I couldn't help but grab my camera and take some snapshots of this little one, as we are gleeful that he is now confidently walking and running around, at 1 year and 4 months. A team of vendors got together to showcase their products and services. My colleagues at Alfred Salom Photography, (Alfred & Emma) invited me to a couture shoot with our friend, Rhoda, of Izabella MakeUp. A few other vendors chipped in for the success of the shoot: One World Designs for the accessories, and Trinity Flowers for the floral bouquet. Our models, Ashley and Evan, were kind enough to do a "pre-wedding" pictorial for us.
Last month, we took my mom and my sister, who visited me from the Philippines, to Yosemite National Park. This park is a must-see. Spectacular views, awesome landscapes. I would have loved for us to hike and stay up the mountains, but this was a last minute trip and we only had a day to enjoy it.
Since we were already in the Napa Valley area for our dinner on Friday night, we thought of going around and visiting some wineries in Yountville the following day. We took a tour at Robert Mondavi, visited Opus One, and drove by others.
Yesterday, S.O. and I had the privilege of dining at one of the most renowned restaurants in California -- Three-Michellin Star recipient, French Laundry, located at Yountville, CA., owned by famous chef, Thomas Keller. The food was extra-ordinary and the experience was unforgettable.
